Goshen police made three arrests at a local store for thefts.
Krissa Keaffaber, 19, Syracuse, and Ashley Sarber, 18, Syracuse were arrested by Goshen police at 2:32 p.m. Saturday while at Wal-mart, 2304 Lincolnway East, Goshen, on charges of theft. They were released on a memorandum to appear in court.
Jacqueline Carmichael, 21, 57822 Ninth St., Elkhart, was arrested by Goshen police at 6:10 p.m. Saturday while at the same Wal-mart on a charge of theft. She was released on a memorandum to appear in court.
A Middlebury man was injured Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle.
According to Elkhart County police, Leonard Dolshenko, 32, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle north on C.R. 18, southwest of C.R. 31 when the motorcycle struck an oil slick left by a previous accident that day. Dolshenko was thrown from the motorcycle and slid off the north side of the second curve on C.R. 18, according to police.
He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment of abrasions.
• Jessica Wileman, 1402 West Ave., Goshen, filed a report with Goshen police Saturday indicating someone vandalized her vehicle while it was parked at her residence at around 8 p.m. Thursday.
• Antonio Pizana, 27, 2309 Bashor Road, Goshen, was arrested by Goshen police at 4:21 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of First and Wilkinson streets on charges of operating a motor vehicle while never having received a license and false informing. He was booked into the county jail.
• Carlos A. Sanchez Maldonado, 23, 1611 S. Main St., Goshen, was arrested by Goshen police at 11:27 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Seventh and Monroe streets on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, possession of cocaine and operating a motor vehicle while never having received a license. He was booked into the county jail.
