Driver hurt in crash involving school bus

GOSHEN — A two-vehicle crash involving a Middlebury Community Schools bus injured a driver this morning east of Goshen.

The mishap occurred at 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of C.R.s 36 and 33. Elkhart County police said Ada Miller, 25, Goshen, was driving north on C.R. 33 in a 2001 Ford Taurus. Police said Miller was driving too fast for weather conditions and couldn’t stop at the C.R. 36 stop sign. The vehicle slid into the intersection and collided with an eastbound 2002 Freightliner school bus driven by Rae Rolston, 56, Middlebury.

Miller suffered back and head pain and was transported to IU Health Goshen Hospital for treatment.
