Walmart cash theft nets arrest

GOSHEN ­— Jessica Wilson, 24, 537 Railside Road, Syracuse, was arrested by Goshen police on a charge of theft at Walmart Super Center, 2304 Lincolnway East, Goshen at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said she was observed by asset protection officials taking cash from drawers at several times. She was transported to Elkhart County jail.

Fraud reports

• Jessica Mata of Goshen told Goshen police someone attempted to rent her a home that was already occupied and attempted her to send $1,250 via a money gram for the home around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

• Jacquelyn Stack of Goshen told Goshen police someone made an unauthorized withdrawal from her Interra Credit Union checking account sometime March. 18.
