Store robbed at gunpoint

THE GOSHEN NEWS

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department received a report of an armed robbery at 12:36 a.m. Sunday.

According to a sheriff’s report, Abdullah Witwit, 52, a clerk at a 7-11 convenience store at 25960 C.R. 20, Elkhart, said he was robbed at gunpoint by two men. The robbery is under investigation.

DWI arrests



According to a report by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, the following people were arrested recently:

• Aaron Troyer, 24,6085 S. 1250 W, Millersburg, was arrested after he was stopped driving at Ind. 13 and C.R. 42 at 2:55 a.m. Sunday. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and booked at the county jail. Bond was set at $1,500.

• Justin James Weaver, 22, 706 E. Market St., Nappanee, was stopped for speeding and having a loud muffler at East Walnut Street, west of Summit Street, in Nappanee, at 1:15 a.m. Sunday. He was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated and booked at the county jail.

•Norman Ray Schrock, 23, 7055 S. 400 W., Ligonier, was arrested after a traffic stop at Ind. 13, south of C.R. 38 at Millersburg at 1:13 a.m. Sunday. He was booked into the county jail on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Bond was set at $1,500.
