HOWE — An agriculture company will invest $4 million to expand its local facility.
Acccording to the LaGrange County Economic Development Corp., Gro Alliance will add a warehouse and six new corn dryers to its seed corn operation near Howe. Additionally, bulk bagging operations, which are currently done out of state, will be incorporated into the facility.
Gro Alliance is headquartered in Cuba City, Wisc. and has operations in five Midwestern states, according to the EDC. The company has operated its Howe facility since 2007.
“This investment into our Howe facility will help to ensure a long-term relationship with not only LaGrange County but our customers and growers in the area as well, said Jim Schweigert, president of Gro Alliance. “We see a very bright future for our company and the community.”
