Goshen Buick GMC to renovate facilities

GOSHEN — Goshen Buick GMC will break ground Wednesday at 2 p.m. on a renovation of the dealership’s building.

A new façade will be created to meet new GM dealership standards. DJ Construction of Goshen will be the contractor. According to DJ Construction officials, the renovation will include creating a drive-through canopy

Two local companies interested in re-investing in the community are locking arms on a major renovation project. The company has done similar work for other local GM dealers.

The dealership will remain open throughout the construction. Services and parts will be handled at the adjacent Hyundai building.

Dzung Nguyen is the owner of the Goshen Buick GMC. “Our GM facility is almost 30 years old,” he said. “We want to provide a much better facility to our customers. We want them to be comfortable and have a pleasant experience here.”

The dealership, along with Nguyen, has earned numerous awards throughout its history, including being named GM’s “Mark of Excellence” dealer; and being ranked number one in GM’s Purchase Satisfaction Index.

According to Lon Roth, DJ Construction’s project manager, the work will be implemented in several phases and completed within four to five months.
