Placeit creates Images in tech backgrounds

Have you ever wanted to showcase a product, or a video, or a photo of your team or product within a techy background? The best angle would have been a “over-the-shoulder” view but the concept of trying to use design software to “bend” your image to fit into a computer screen or iPad was simply beyond your skill set and you didn’t want to hire a graphic designer, so the end result was that it didn’t happen.

If that was you, or if you want to take your product and event images up to the next level, then the online tool, Placeit, can be your best friend!

What it is

PlaceIt is a web tool enabling users to easily create a great product or feature image set within a tech device such as a iPad or mobile phone. The beauty of the tool is that no design skills are needed. The tool does the work for you. All you have to do is to upload an image and embed it onto a placeholder background of your choice such as MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad, or desktop computer and watch it to come to life. You simply select the tech scene you want, and then upload your personal image, company images, or logo and Placeit will do the auto-adjusting to make it appear seamlessly within the scene. It’s a great way to take a product image and really add a professional look and appearance to it.

How it works

The steps are simple and the web app’s design leads you right through the process. Use the horizontal selection tool up top to choose which environment (or “stage”) you want. Then simply upload your image, drag-and-drop the image over the active canvas, and watch your product come to life in a matter of seconds. From there, you can share the image on your social networks (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn), save it to your computer, or copy the unique link to share with others. PlaceIt is very user-friendl. It has a free and premium account features that allows you the use depending on your type of need.
