Quality Driveaway Inc., 64825 C.R. 31, Goshen, had 10 professional drivers’ named as Master Truck Drivers by the Indiana Motor Truck Association.
The Indiana Motor Truck Association awards the professional certification of Master Truck Driver to drivers of commercial motor vehicles who meet high standards for educational achievement, professional conduct and accident-free driving.
Arlen Stueber, John Harman, Lester Miller, Kenneth Bartell, Gary Drake, J. Kay Dossett, Ray Kreider, Max McFarren, Arthur Messer and David Morgan have successfully navigated a combined 12,651,202 miles without an accident. That is the equivalent of traveling to the moon and back 12 times plus circling the earth 48 times.
The Master Truck Driver Award qualifications include an accident-free driving record for one million miles or 10 years, no traffic citations within the past three years and a record of community service or continuing professional education.
It is estimated that less than 2 percent of the nation’s drivers will qualify for this award, according to industry representatives.
The Indiana Motor Truck Association is a trade association serving the trucking industry in Indiana.
The IMTA established the Master Truck Driving Award to encourage drivers to strive for high standards in safe driving and professional conduct.
