Business students honored

The Goshen College Business Department recognized four students for its academic achievements and excellent work in their field at the annual Senior Recognition Dinner.

Justin Hochstetler, an accounting major, business minor and entrepreneurship minor, received the Wall Street Journal Award, given annually to the most outstanding student in the business department. The award is based on academic performance, involvement in extracurricular activities on campus and character. Hochstetler, the son of Harold and Lois Hochstetler, graduated from Smithville (Ohio) High School and attends Oak Grove Mennonite Church.

Drew Horst, a business major and communication minor, was selected to receive the Business Award. Horst, the son of Gerald and Linda Horst, graduated from Lancaster (Pa.) Mennonite High School and attends Akron Mennonite Church.

Laura Roggie, an accounting major and business minor, received the Indiana Certified Public Accountants Society Award, given to the top senior accounting major. Roggie, the daughter of Calvin and Donna Roggie, graduated from Ephrata (Pa.) High School and attends Forest Hills Mennonite Church.

Paul Shetler, a global economics minor, history major and international studies minor, received the Global Economics Award. Shetler, the son of Peter and Jan Shetler, graduated from Goshen High School and attends College Mennonite Church.
