Goshen teen charged with murder

GOSHEN — A Goshen teen has been formally charged with murdering a 76-year-old Elkhart woman.

Prosecutors filed the charge Friday in Elkhart Circuit Court against Luis A. Bailey, 17, 19751 C.R. 18. Bailey is scheduled to have an initial hearing in Circuit Court Thursday.

Authorities allege that Bailey killed Norma Jean Hopper, 54640 Michael Drive, Elkhart, in her home Dec. 21.
