Eight vie for LaGrange fair queen title

— LAGRANGE — Eight young women will by vying for the title of Miss LaGrange County during the 60th anniversary of the queen contest Saturday night.

Contestants will be competing in the LaGrange 4-H Show Pavilion starting at 7:30 p.m.

The contestants include:

Marissa Richardson, 17, Mongo. She is a Prairie Heights student and is the daughter of Thomas and Renee Richardson. Her sponsor is Gunthrop Farms.

Tiffany Bontrager, 20, LaGrange. She is a student at Ball State University and is the daughter of Rod and Jodi Bontrager. Her sponsor is Hostetler Insurance.

Mackenna McGraw, 18, LaGrange. She is a student at Bethel College and is the daughter of Brad and Lori McGraw. Her sponsor is S&J Produce.

Kelsey Younce, 17, LaGrange. She is the daughter of Randy and Rebecca Younce and is a student at Prairie Heights High School. Her sponsor is Wildflower Lane Carriage Co.

Elizabeth Kratz, 17, LaGrange. She attends Prairie Heights High School and is the daughter of Dennis and Laura Kratz. Her sponsor is Billman Propane.

Allison Young, 17, Wolcottville. She is a student at Prairie Heights High School and is the daughter of Allen and Jennifer Young. Her sponsor is Young Family Farms.

Heather Mills, 17, Mongo. She is a student at Ivy Tech and is the daughter of Richard and Sara Mills. Her sponsor is Trading Post Canoe.

Shelby Butler, 17, Hudson. She is a student at Prairie Heights High School and is the daughter of Todd and Jessica Butler. Her sponsor is Smoketree Trucking.

Along with the crowning of a new queen Saturday night, former queens will also be recognized.
