Wawasee High School choir to revisit ’50s-’80s

SYRACUSE — The Wawasee High School Choral Department will present an “American Bandstand” Pops Show Friday and Saturday  at 7:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Musical selections for the show include oldies by “American Bandstand” artists from the 1950s through the 1980s with solos, ensembles and comedy routines.

Connie Meadows is the director of choirs. Amanda Bradley, McKenzie Hare, Tristan Palmer and Benjamin Rairigh will serve as masters of ceremony. Jeff Cox, Veronica Runyon, Amanda Bradley and McKenzie Hare are the choreographers. Costumes and set have been designed and made by Deb and Scot Sweazy. Ken Strong will produce the lighting and special effects.  

Seating is reserved. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for children age 12 and younger. Purchase tickets from any choir student or by calling the high school at 457-3147.
