GOSHEN — Officials with NIPSCO announced early Thursday afternoon that approximately 1,900 people were hit with a power outage in the Goshen area.
According to the company website, the outage, which occurred at around 4:15 p.m., is primarily affecting the southwestern part of Goshen north of C.R. 38 and west of C.R. 21.
NIPSCO officials have not yet identified a cause for the outage, though crews have been assigned to the area and predictions are that power should be restored by 6 p.m.
