GC music faculty to perform recital Friday

GOSHEN — Members of the Goshen College Music Department faculty will present a mixed recital in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The recital will feature both music department professors and adjunct instructors. Performers will include Kevin Vaughn, organ; Kathryn Schmidt, piano; Beverly Lapp, piano; Jennifer Muñiz and Jorge Muñiz, piano; Chris French, clarinet; Roger Lewis, tuba; and Christine Larson Seitz, piano.

The program includes works by J.S. Bach, Joseph Edouard Barat, Claude Debussy, GC composition instructor Jorge Muñiz and current GC senior music composition student Levi Smucker.

Tickets cost $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, available at the door one hour before the concert. GC faculty, staff, and students are free with valid ID.
