MIDDLEBURY — Police raided a suspected methamphetamine lab in Middlebury Monday.

Middlebury police went to a residence in Crystal Valley Mobile Home Park, 206 York Drive, around 12:30 p.m. regarding a possible lab, according to town Police Chief Mike McCloughen. Police said a working lab was found.

McCloughen said the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Unit was called to the scene and secured the home for clean-up. He said the investigation is continuing due to the size of the lab and the number of individuals involved.

“We didn’t incarcerate anybody,” McCloughen said Tuesday morning. “We’re going to file with the prosecutor for charges.”

Goshen police assisted in the investigation.
