Arsonist pleads guilty in court this morning

ELKHART — A 20-year-old Goshen man pled guilty to four counts of arson Monday morning, Jan. 28, 2013,  in Elkhart Superior Court 2.

Nicholas Lynch entered guilty pleas to the March 21 arson at Rogers Park, the July 7 arson at Oakridge Park, both in Goshen, both Class B felonies, and to two Class D felony counts of arson in March and May, where he set fire to man's truck twice.

Under the plea deal, Lynch's sentence was capped at 14 years. Sentencing is set for March 4.
