'Sherlock Holmes' shows set in Goshen

GOSHEN — The Pioneer Troupe, a theatrical group made up of local homeschooled students, will put on a play later this month in Goshen.

The Pioneers will perform “The Secret Case of Sherlock Holmes” at The Goshen Theater, 216 S. Main St. Shows are scheduled for April 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. and April 28 at 4 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 for attendees age 10 and older, and $3 for those younger than 10. The cost for families is capped at $25.

There has been discussion at West Goshen Elementary School to require mandatory student uniforms in the future. How do you feel about the prospect of mandatory student uniforms in a public school environment?

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
