Closed for Easter
The library will be closed for the Easter holiday Sunday. However, the library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Good Friday.
Mother Goose Mondays
Mother Goods Mondays sessions take place from 10:30 to 11 a.m. through May 20.
The program features learning activities geared for babies from birth through age 2 who attend with their parent or caregiver. Rhymes, stories, songs and playtime are planned. No advance registration is required, and participants can attend as many sessions at they like.
Storytime Express will not meet this week due to spring break.
The Crafty Bandits group will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the Teen Space located on the main floor. Library staffers supply the craft materials, while “Bandits” supply the creativity. Spring Story Time
Preschool Spring Story Time sessions for children ages 3 to 6 will be on Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. from April 3 to May 8. There will also be Thursday sessions at 7 p.m. from April 4 to May 9. Children will hear stories, learn songs, make crafts and eat snacks. Themes include: “Fairy Tales,” “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” “Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head,” “Spring Chickens,” “Down on the Farm” and “Mother’s Tea.” Sign up at the children’s desk or by calling 658-4312.
The Scrapbooking club will meet on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the library meeting room. The Cricut will be available for the group to use.

The book discussion group will meet April 10. The featured selection will be “Remarkable Creatures,” in which author Tracy Chevalier imagines the life of pioneer paleontologist Mary Anning. Call the library for assistance in getting a copy.

Parents of preschool-age children are invited to sign their child up for “1000 Books Before Kindergarten.” In this self-paced program, rewards and recognition are given at each hundred-book milestone.
Free tax forms are available for both state and federal tax preparation. Any forms not available can be printed for 10 cents a page.
