---- — MARTIN, Mich. (AP) — A western Michigan bank teller suspicious about a man outside the building has helped solve robberies in two states.

The FBI says Dennis Love of South Bend, Ind., confessed to bank robberies in Michigan and Indiana after he was captured Friday in Plainwell, 40 miles south of Grand Rapids.

Earlier in the day, employees at a PNC Bank in Martin locked the door after seeing a man putting on a mask. A teller followed the man, got his license plate number and called police.

The FBI says the 59-year-old Love admitted robbing $3,400 from Farmers State Bank in Leesburg, Ind., last July. He also took responsibility for a $6,200 robbery at Honor Credit Union in Berrien Springs, Mich., in September.

Love remains in custody. An attorney hasn't been assigned.
