Crash kills power in south Goshen, snarling traffic

GOSHEN — Goshen residents should avoid the area of Lincolnway East (U.S. 33) because a power outage has made traffic lights inoperable, according to Goshen News Regional Editor Sheila Selman.

Selman reports that traffic is backed up and moving very slowly.

Northern Indiana Public Service Co. is reporting an outage in Goshen that impacts just more than 150 customers.

Elkhart County 911 dispatchers report a vehicle accident in the 13000 block of C.R. 40 knocked down power lines and police are responding to the scene.
