Elkhart County Saddle Club holds Christmas celebrations

The Elkhart County 4-H Saddle Club recently held a Christmas celebration at Eby’s Family Skate Center in Bristol. With more than 30 members in attendance, the club collected and donated more than 125 food items for the Northern Food Bank of Indiana. In addition to skating, many members and adults enjoyed laser tag and refreshments.

The first meeting of 2013 will be held on Jan, 14. Officers will be installed, Survival Guides will be distributed, and there will be information stations set up for many of the activities members can participate in, including Horse Bowl. All members are encouraged to enroll on-line. New members and families are invited to attend a 6 p.m. meeting prior to the general club meeting that will start at 7 at the Sheep/Swine Arena at the fairgrounds. I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
