RV company hosting hiring fair in Goshen to fill 300 jobs

A Goshen-area recreational vehicle manufacturer will host a job fair Wednesday at The Old Bag Factory, 1100 N. Chicago Ave. from noon to 4 p.m.

According to WorkOne of Northern Indiana, the state agency coordinating the event, the company’s name will be revealed at the event. According to the agency, starting pay for the positions range from $9 to $12 per hour.

For some positions no experience is necessary. For those wanting to learn to weld, the company will offer training.

Positions open include splice line welders, jig welders, finish welders, warehouse and assembly managers, supervisors, fork-lift operators, cycle counters, maintenance workers, janitors, glass pickers, saw operators, parts benders, hole punchers, framers, vinyl applicators, cleaners, assembly, preppers, primers and more.

Last weekend (July 12) the Goshen Parks Department held its Kid’s Try-athlon to promote childhood fitness and this week (July 18) the new bicycle trail is open to the fairgrounds in Goshen, offering residents a healthy way to get to the annual agriculture exposition.
