Michigan factories relocating to Howe

HOWE — Exo-s, a global supplier of engineered injection and blow molded thermoplastic systems for the automotive and specialty markets, will relocate its manufacturing operations in Three Rivers, Mich., and machine and tool shop in Centerville, Mich. to Howe.

The move will occur in 2014, according to the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership, an economic development agency.

Exo-s is based in Quebec, Canada, and will receive $2.5 million in tax incentives from the state for the relocation. The move is expected to add 250 jobs in Howe, which will increase the company’s work force for the two operations by 18 percent.
