Academic teams do well at NLC

The NorthWood High School Academic Teams dominated the NLC Conference Academic Super Bowl March 11, at Wawasee High School. As a result, the Northern Lakes Conference title returned to NorthWood for the 2012-2013 school year. Individual teams which earned first-place honors were: Fine Arts, Math, Science and Interdisciplinary. The English Team tied for first but earned second place based on a tie-breaker, and the Social Studies team finished second, missing first place by one question.

On March 4, the Academic Teams began their competition season by competing at the Warsaw Invitational Meet at Warsaw Community High School. The next competition will be April 16, at Northridge High School and will determine which teams earn the right to compete at the State Super Bowl which will be held on May 4, at Purdue University.
