Children’s fall programs
Starting today, sign up is available for Babies and Books (for children 18 months old and younger), Toddler Time (18 to 36 months) and Pre-School Story Time (ages 3 to 5). These programs start the week of Sept. 4. The Home School Club (for children in kindergarten through sixth grade) starts Sept. 10.
‘Yak, Snack and Read’
The next book discussion sessions will be on Tuesday at 1 and 7 p.m. The “Night Yak” will be discussing “Swamplandia” by Karen Russell, and the “Day Yak” will be discussing “A Secret Gift” by Ted Gup.

Friends of the Library
Patrons are invited to become members of the Friends by downloading a brochure with attached membership form from the library’s website. Mail the filled-out form and a check to the library, or drop them off at the front desk.
Friends membership can by renewed by using the same form.
