Quality Drive-Away, Foremost Transport have management changes

GOSHEN — Quality Drive-Away and Foremost Transport, trucking and recreational delivery companies, have announced management appointments.

Jim Nywening has been promoted to vice president of operations for both companies. Nywening has more than 25 years of experience within the transportation industry, devoting his last 10 years as general manager for Quality Drive Away.

Robin Baker has been promoted to Goshen motorized division manager for Quality-Drive Away. Baker has worked at Quality for the past six years. She has worked as a customer service representative, both in the Indiana office and, most recently in the Bossier City, La. office where she was involved with the launch of that location.

Bill Hodgen has been hired as the general manager of Foremost Transport. Hodgen returns after working for the company in 2007. Hodgen spent the past five years as sales manager for Dekalb Distributing in Avilla and has 20 years of experience as a division manager for a Fortune 500 consumer products manufacturer.

Devon Bechtel, president of the companies, said the appointments will bring strategic perspective to their respective companies, and that each manager will be instrumental in driving the business forward.

Quality Drive-Away is a vehicle transport company that has a 25-year history, Quality Drive-Away has more than 20 pickup locations and terminals in Indiana, Georgia, Louisiana, California and Pennsylvania.

Foremost Transport Inc., formerly the towable division of Quality Drive-Away Inc., provides transport services to nearby RV and other trailer manufacturers. The company has four terminal locations and nearly a dozen pickup locations
