Goshen school officials request public help clear sidewalks

GOSHEN — Goshen Community Schools officials are asking for the public's help in clearing sidewalks for students.

In a post on the school's website, school officials said, "One of the main reasons school needed to be closed for Wednesday was due to the large number of sidewalks that have not been cleared yet. We are encouraging people to work with friends and neighbors to clear sidewalks so that our students can get to school safely. If you live near a walk-zone or hub gathering area, please do what you can to get these clear for safe passage to school on Thursday."

I think it’s an excellent idea that is way overdue
I think it’s a bad idea and would be restrictive for students and parents.
