Milford man airlifted after snowmobile accident

A Milford man is hospitalized following a snowmobile Thursday evening.

According to Indiana Conservation Officers, Keith Hostetler, 31 of Milford sustained serious internal injuries as a result of the accident.

According to police, Hostetler crashed the snowmobile in the area of C.R. 600 North and C.R. 150 West on private property around 6:30 p.m. when he struck a snowbank and was thrown from the snowmobile at approximately 50 mph.

Police said a passing motorist picked up Hostetler and a relative later transported him to Kosciusko Community Hospital where it was determined he needed to be flown to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne and was listed in stable condition with internal injuries as of Saturday.
