Elkhart Guard returns home

— INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana National Guard Soldiers with the 38th Infantry Division's Transportation Company were scheduled to arrive back on Hoosier soil Sunday.
Since September, approximately 160 Soldiers, who are headquartered in Elkhart, Ind., provided convoy security, transportation and civil affairs missions.
"These Soldiers are happy to be on U.S. soil and are excited about coming home to Indiana. Their spirits are high," said Command Sgt. Maj. Greg Rhoades, 38th Infantry Division command sergeant major. "They are a seasoned, more focused group of American heroes than they were one year ago. I am so very proud of them all."
"These Soldiers and their families should be commended on their hard work and support throughout this deployment," said Maj. Gen. Tod Carmony, 38th Infantry Division commander."
