Since the Republican nominee for president has already been decided, I believe that many Hoosiers are asking themselves the question, “Does it really matter if I vote in the upcoming primary election?”
There are even those suggesting that we jump party lines and cast a Democratic ballot so that party will continue to be in chaos by not knowing who their nominee will be. This may seem like a bit of fun, however, we need to examine the idea closer, as it could have some unintended consequences.
There are other important races in this primary, and if too many of us join “Operation Chaos,” we could end up with local and state representation that doesn’t represent our values.
This is why I have decided to support Carlin Yoder in his run for the Republican nomination for state Senate. Carlin is a man of integrity, a man of action and a man of responsibility, and I am convinced that he will represent my values.
As a small business owner, I am convinced that Carlin Yoder will represent what I value in business by encouraging innovation and business growth by limiting taxation and government control.
As a father, I am convinced that Carlin Yoder’s experience in education will contribute to improved education for my children as well as for all Hoosiers.
As a fiscal conservative, I am convinced that Carlin Yoder will work to encourage strong economic growth by cutting taxes and taking responsibility by eliminating wasteful government spending.
I am convinced that Carlin Yoder is the best candidate to represent the people of state Senate District 12, and I hope that you will join with me in supporting Carlin Yoder by voting for him on the Republican ballot in the upcoming primary election.
