Notre Dame Top Dogs F_Vant WEB.jpg

In this Nov. 24, 2012, file photo, Notre Dame running back Theo Riddick (6) and wide receiver Luke Massa (14) celebrate their 22-13 win over Southern California in an NCAA college football game in Los Angeles. The rankings say Notre Dame is No. 1 going into the BCS championship against Alabama. Plenty of folks aren't buying it, starting with the oddsmakers who currently have the Crimson Tide as about a touchdown favorite for the Jan. 7 meeting in Miami between two of college football's proudest programs.
