MILFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY staffers are shown in costume as nursery rhyme characters. Staffers will present the ninth-annual “Lights Out” program inside the library Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is “Nursery Rhyme Disaster.” Attendees will be greeted by “Mother Goose” at the library’s Main Street entrance as they begin their journey. Shown in the front row are the “Three Men in a Tub,” Dorothy Gall (The Butcher), Mim Eberly (The Baker) and Margaret Cousins (The Candlestick Maker). In the back row are Heather Pickens (Humpty Dumpty), Maureen Haab (Queen of Hearts) and Julie Frew (Mother Goose.)
