From left to right, Tonya Angle, Meredith Eller, and Maureen Gray presented George Roelandts and Bart Rice, principal and vice-principal at NorthWood Middle School, with a shared award from the Indiana Music Education Association for their years of Outstanding dedication to the fine arts programs. All of the women are music teachers at the school, and they led a campaign of letter writing and supportive measures for the administrators to be chosen for the honor. Roelandts and Rice, the only winners in the state, were recognized during the May 13 session of the Wa-Nee Community Board of School Trustees.
