Pilate (the Rev. Carl Adams) speaks to Jesus (Max Tom) as soldiers hold on to Christ. The soldiers are Jesse Wetzel, left, and Brad Adams. The men will perform in the Easter drama, “On a Hill Too Far Away,” at Spirit of Faith Fellowship Friday and Saturday. The play, which is open to the public, depicts Jesus’ final days on Earth. There will be one performance at 7:30 p.m. Friday and two performances Saturday at 3 and 7:30 p.m. The drama will take place in the auditorium of Bethany Christian School, 2094 S. Main St., Goshen. Last weekend (July 12) the Goshen Parks Department held its Kid’s Try-athlon to promote childhood fitness and this week (July 18) the new bicycle trail is open to the fairgrounds in Goshen, offering residents a healthy way to get to the annual agriculture exposition. Have you joined the local fitness movement?
