GOSHEN — Cleo and Phyllis (Oesch) Hartzler, Topeka, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were married Oct. 3, 1953, at the First Church of God in Mishawaka by the Rev. Leon Atwell.

Family and friends of the Hartzlers are invited to an anniversary open house celebration Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the LaGrange First Church of God. The couple requests no gifts.

The event will be hosted by their children, Diane (Randy) Harvell, Middlebury, and Kent Hartzler, Ligonier, and their two grandchildren.

The Hartzlers reside on the Centennial Farm where he worked as a rancher, farmer and dairyman.

She is a retired Avon representative and secretary/bookkeeper.
