Peters 50th

— Clarence and Sara (Hagar) Peters, Syracuse, are celebrating their 50th anniversary today.
They were married June 28, 1959, at Benton Methodist Church, Benton, by the Rev. Chester Carpenter.
Their children hosted a surprise party for the couple June 20 at Pleasant View Bible Church, Warsaw. Many of their family and friends helped with the celebration.
They have two children, Scott (Pam) Peters, Leesburg, and Steve (Barb) Peters, Las Vegas. They also have two grandchildren.
He retired in 1983 from Starcraft and Smoker Craft, New Paris.
She is a homemaker and retired in 1983 as a cook at Millersburg Elementary School.
