Van Sky Hock 50th

Dean and Jean (Pickrell) Van Sky Hock, Bristol, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married May 3, 1959, at Bristol United Methodist Church by Herschel McCord.

An anniversary open house celebration is set to take place July 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Bristol United Methodist Church.

Their children include Karen Swartz, Bristol, and Lori Van Sky Hock, Long Beach, Calif. They have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One grandchild is deceased.

He retired in 2001 from Miles, Elkhart, after 43 years of service and she is the church organist for Bristol United Methodist Church.
