Alfrey 50th

— William and Ruth (Parson) Alfrey, New Paris, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
A surprise anniversary celebration was given by their family and friends at New Paris Church of the Brethren May 9. The couple visited relatives on an anniversary trip to Tennessee and Alabama.
They were married May 9, 1959, by the Rev. Kenneth Hollinger at New Paris Church of the Brethren.
They have one daughter, Melissa (Mike) Zimmerman, New Paris, and two granddaughters.
He is semi-retired from Romotech, New Paris. She was a child care provider for many years and is retired.
