Lazzaro 50th

Carl and Arlene (Owen) Lazzaro, Shipshewana, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married in Gary June 20, 1959, by the Rev. H.R. Hosier.

An open house anniversary celebration in their honor will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. June 20 at Scott United Methodist Church, Shipshewana.

Their children include Laura Lazzaro, Indianapolis, Karen Weaver, Marietta, Ohio, Janice (Brian) Cossell, Kokomo, and Brenda (Ron) Yoder, Shipshewana. They have nine grandchildren.

He retired in 1993 as an insurance agent with Shipshewana Insurance Agency and she retired in 1997 as an elementary school teacher at Shipshewana-Scott Elementary School. They attend Scott United Methodist Church, Shipshewana.
