Kauffman 70th

— Alvin and Beulah (Good) Kauffman, Goshen, are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married Easter Sunday, April 17, 1938, in Cheraw, Colo.
They celebrated with family at a reunion in Goshen April 19 to 20.
Their children are Ralph and Laurel Kauffman, Kansas City, Mo., Barbara and Charles Powell, Champaign, Ill.; and Ruth and Ed Zehr, Libertyville, Ill.
They have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Goshen and Elkhart area residents for the past 41 years, they are active members of the Belmont Mennonite Church. He retired in 1976 from teaching math at Brookdale Junior High. She retired in 1997 from the Mennonite Board of Missions, Elkhart.
