Johns 65th

— Galen and Edith (Hoover) Johns, Goshen, are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary.
The couple plan to celebrate with an open house May 4 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the dining room of Greencroft Manor IV.
The couple were married May 16, 1943, at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church.
Their children are Steven (Debra) Johns, Goshen, Lois (Jim) Kauffman, New Paris, Loren (Rachel) Johns, Goshen, and Lin (Melanie) Johns, Benton. Two children are deceased, Joe, who is survived by Jeanette, and Rachel.
They have 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was pastor at Benton Mennonite Church, Benton, Bonneyville Mennonite Church, Bristol and Erb Street Mennonite Church, Waterloo, Ontario. He was also a church conference leader and teacher.
She was a partner in ministry and a homemaker.
