Yoder 60th

Galen and Esther (Mishler) Yoder, Goshen, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married April 17, 1948, in Topeka, by Edwin J. Yoder.

An anniversary celebration open house will take place Saturday, April 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Juniper Place, Greencroft, Goshen. The couple requests no gifts, only the presence of their family and friends.

Their children are Retha (Franklin) Baer, Harrisonburg, Va., Rosalie Yoder, Hampton, Va., Ronald L. (Jane) Yoder, LaGrange, Roberta (Terry) Bontrager, Jacabacoa, Dominican Republic, and Rod (Verna) Yoder, Lafayette.

They have 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The couple retired as dairy farmers in 1991, and are members of Gideons International and the Topeka Mennonite Church.
